Full name Edson Aranch do Nasimentu (Pele) Born on 23 October 1940 in Grace Coraques, Brazil, Pele is considered the best footballer of all time. Pele, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall. On July 7,1957, Edson Aranch do Nasimentu (Pele) played his first match against Argentina. Despite losing the first match by 1-2 goals, Pele became the youngest goal scorer that day.
